Closing arguments continued today in the contempt of court case taken against the Dublin West TD Liam Lawlor.

Closing arguments continued today in the contempt of court case taken against the Dublin West TD Liam Lawlor.

The Flood Tribunal claimed that Deputy Lawlor breached a court order of last October by not providing details about all his financial affairs to Mr Justice Flood.

Frank Clark, Senior Counsel for the tribunal, stated that Mr Lawlor breached the order by not answering questions put to him.

He said where there was corruption there was a cover-up and was sure Mr Lawlor's business dealings in the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein were solely for the purpose of shielding money.

Deliberations have now finished for the weekend and will resume again at 11am on Monday.
