Man arrested after Dungannon murder

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Co Tyrone.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Co Tyrone.

The body of the man, who was in his early thirties, was discovered at an entryway on the Donaghmore Road in Dungannon in the early hours of this morning.

Police say the victim had suffered a vicious assault and died as a result of his injuries.

It is understood the man was a local and came from the Lisnahull estate near the scene of the murder.

The killing has been condemned by both the Sinn Féin and SDLP.
