Traffic restrictions are in operation in Dublin today, ahead of the visit of the US President Barack Obama on Monday.
Dame Street in Dublin is closed to traffic today and will remain so until after the US President has addressed a crowd at College Green on Monday.
Traffic, with the exception of Dublin Bus and local access, is being diverted at Christchurch Place along Nicholas Street or Winetavern Street.
Existing 'no parking' restrictions put in place for the Queen's visit are being expanded today and barriers will be placed along a number of routes in the south city. Gardaí are advising people to use public transport where possible.
The Phoenix Park in Dublin is completely closed to all vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians today, tomorrow, with the exception of patrons visiting the zoo.
The public is also being forewarned of further road closures on the N4, M50 and the M1 on Monday and Tuesday.
