Funerals for father and daughter killed in road accident

In the North, funerals for a father and his eight-year-old daughter, killed in a road accident, are due to take place later today.

In the North, funerals for a father and his eight-year-old daughter, killed in a road accident, are due to take place later today.

James McGuigan, aged 30, and his daughter, Lorna, died when their car hit a tree in Co Antrim on Friday.

Two other daughters, aged four and five, who were also injured in the crash, are being treated in hospital.

Mr McGuigan had been taking his children to their grandmother's house when the accident happened.

Four people have died on the North's roads since Friday.
