Paisley attends Dáil and Seanad sittings

The North's former First Minister Ian Paisley today made history by attending sittings of the Dáil and Seanad.

The North's former First Minister Ian Paisley today made history by attending sittings of the Dáil and Seanad.

Dr Paisley was present along with his wife Eileen in the distinguished visitors' gallery.

He was welcomed into Leinster House by former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and also paid a courtesy visit to Taoiseach Brian Cowen at Government Buildings.
