Further rioting erupted in east Belfast last night, with around 400 loyalists and nationalists throwing missiles at each other across the peaceline in Short Strand.

Further rioting erupted in east Belfast last night, with around 400 loyalists and nationalists throwing missiles at each other across the peaceline in Short Strand.

Petrol bombs were also thrown during the rioting.

The Short Strand area, a Catholic enclave, has seen some of the worst street violence in the North in recent months.
