Independents and SF form 'no confidence' group

Sinn Féin and two Independents have formed a new technical group in the Dáil.

Dublin TDs Finian McGrath and Maureen O'Sullivan have agreed to the grouping with the five Sinn Féin deputies.

It gives them the right to move motions of no confidence and will also mean the will have the right to quiz the Taoiseach Brian Cowen on Leaders Questions on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
