Toulouse 3, Munster 9 (latest)
Munster lead French giants Toulouse by 9-3 in their Heineken Cup semi-final clash in front of a capacity 36,000 crowd at Le Stadium de Toulouse.
Ronan O’Gara opened the second half the way he started the first, with a drop-goal.
Out-half O'Gara got the Reds off to an ideal start with a drop-goal in the 13th minute, and then doubled Munster's lead with a penalty three minutes later.
Toulouse got off the mark in first-half injury-time with a penalty from Yann Delaigue.
Munster are bidding to reach their third final in four seasons, having lost to Northampton at Twickenham (2000) and Leicester in Cardiff last year.
Coach Alan Gaffney fielded the same starting line-up on duty for the 20-7 quarter-final victory over Leicester a fortnight ago, and Munster were roared on by more than 10,000 travelling fans who made their voices heard during the first half.
