Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal car crash in Dublin yesterday evening.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal car crash in Dublin yesterday evening.

A woman, thought to be in her late 60s or early 70s, died when the car she was driving collided with another car on the Howth Road in Sutton, at around 5.30pm.

The woman, who was on her own in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital.

The occupants of the second car were uninjured
