Gardai make drugs seizure at Dublin Airport

Eighteen kilograms of herbal cannabis have been seized at Dublin Airport following a combined operation by gardai and customs officials.

Eighteen kilograms of herbal cannabis have been seized at Dublin Airport following a combined operation by gardai and customs officials.

The drug find, which as an estimated street value of €50,000, was taken from a South African woman who arrived on a flight from Zurich. The flight originated in Johannesburg.

The 55-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Santry garda station where she is being questioned in relation to the seizure.
