Viable explosive made safe in Dublin

An Army bomb disposal team has made safe an improvised explosive device in West Dublin this morning, it has emerged.

An Army bomb disposal team has made safe an improvised explosive device in West Dublin this morning, it has emerged.

The device, said to be "viable" was found at address at Whitestown Drive, Mulhuddart in the early hours of this morning.

The bomb disposal team removed the device and the scene was declared safe at 2.30am.
