Teenage girl dies in Co Wexford road crash

A teenage girl has died following a road crash in Co Wexford in the early hours of this morning.

A teenage girl has died following a road crash in Co Wexford in the early hours of this morning.

The 17-year-old was a passenger in a car that hit at wall in the Ballyfinogue area of Piercestown at around 1am.

A 21-year-old woman who was driving the car was also hospitalised after the crash.

The scene remains closed this morning pending technical examination, while gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
