FSAI closes three premises

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland today served closure orders on two premises in Galway and one in Wexford.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland today served closure orders on two premises in Galway and one in Wexford.

A number of premises were told they had to show immediate improvement, including a take-away in Dublin and two restaurants in Dublin and Cork.

The premises were closed because they posed a "grave and immediate danger to public health".

The closed premises are Foley's Bistro incorporating Burger Express, Portumna, Co Galway and Tony's Tavern, Loughrea, Co Galway.

The third Closure Order was served on The Sawdust Bar, The Ballagh, Co Wexford.

The Improvement Orders were served on the Canton City Chinese Restaurant and Take-away, Carrigaline, Co Cork, and on China-Link Take Away, Swords, Co Dublin and on San Lorenzo Cafe, Dublin.
