Woman to face charges in connection Waterford death

A second person arrested in relation to the death of a 60-year-old man in Waterford City is to face charges.

A second person arrested in relation to the death of a 60-year-old man in Waterford City is to face charges.

A 39-year-old woman has been in Garda custody since her arrest following the discovery of the body of Joe O'Brien on Monday night.

She will appear before Waterford District Court tomorrow morning.

Earlier today, 47-year-old Pat Keating with an address at Moyne House on Grattan Quay, Waterford, was charged with assault causing serious harm under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He was remanded in custody to appear before the court again on May 1.
