Witness appeal after woman dies following Waterford collision
A woman has died following a car crash in Co Waterford.
The 45-year-old was seriously injured after her car collided with a van on a stretch of the Waterford to Dungarvan road at Ballyduff West.
She was rushed to hospital along with the male driver of the van but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The van driver was treated for minor injuries.
The road is closed to facilitate a technical examination of the scene and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
