Gardaí name woman killed in hit-and-run

The woman killed in a hit-and-run in Co Tipperary last night has been named as Josephine Kennedy from Drom in Co Tipperary.

The woman killed in a hit-and-run in Co Tipperary last night has been named as Josephine Kennedy from Drom in Co Tipperary.

The victim, who was in her fifties, was hit head-on by a car and died at the scene at Drom, on the road between Templemore and the Rag.

A man is being questioned by investigating gardaí.
