Independent TD for Dublin North-Central Finian McGrath is calling on the Minister for Finance Charlie McCreevy to give concessions to persons with intellectual disabilities in next week's Budget.

Independent TD for Dublin North-Central Finian McGrath is calling on the Minister for Finance Charlie McCreevy to give concessions to persons with intellectual disabilities in next week's Budget.

Minister McCreevy will deliver his Budget for 2004 on Wednesday afternoon.

Early indications suggest little will be given to the taxpayer.

Finian McGrath TD said it is time for the Minister to give something to the marginalised after the success of the Special Olympics.
