Sinn Féin TD's son found safe and well

Sinn Féin TD Aengus Ó Snodaigh has announced that his son Lorcán has been found safe and well.

Deputy Ó Snodaigh has appealed for privacy for his family as they deal with the trauma of the last few days.

He said: “My son Lorcán has been found safe.

“I want to thank friends, comrades, members of the public, the Gardaí and the many more people unknown to me who helped myself and my family to search for Lorcán over the last few days.

“I would now ask for privacy for my family while we deal with the trauma of the last few days.”

16-year-old Lorcan Ó Snodaigh went missing on the same day his older brother Ferghal was stabbed at their home in Bluebell.

Ferghal is still being treated in hospital after being stabbed in the early hours of Sunday.
