Sales firm to create 65 new jobs

Sixty-five new jobs have been announced at SalesSense International.

Sixty-five new jobs have been announced at Galway-based SalesSense International.

The 'sales outsourcing' firm is creating the new positions over the next three months throughout the country in counties Cork, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth.

Six of the roles are management positions.

SalesSense has partnered with Vodafone, Phonewatch and Bord Gáis Electricity and hopes to be launching into the UK market this time next year.

"We have enjoyed successes working with major providers in the energy, telecoms, waste and utilities sectors," said managing director Gerard Teahon.

An open day for interested candidates is being held in Cork on Wednesday - with similar events due to take place around the country in the coming weeks.
