The Road Safety Authority is advising road users to take extra care over the coming days as heavy rain and possible spot flooding is forecast.

Met Éireann has forecast frequent spells of heavy rain and thundery downpours countrywide up to Thursday-in particular over Munster.

Falls of up to 60mm are expected tomorrow and Thursday with the risk of some thundery downpours and spot flooding, over Waterford, Cork, Kerry and Tipperary.
