The Jobs Minister Richard Bruton has said a new aid map targeting investment and employment in certain parts of Ireland will help to attract multinational companies to set up in regional areas.
The plan outlines parts of the country where the state can provide investment to businesses under European Union regulations.
Under the new guidelines areas accounting for just over 50% of the population, including most of regional Ireland, remains eligible.
County Kerry, Kells in Co Meath, Athy in Co Kildare and Arklow in Co Wicklow have also been added to the new list.
