NAMA: Funding in place for 4,500 new Dublin homes

NAMA says funding is in place to deliver 4,500 new houses and apartments in Dublin over the next 18 months.

At its national housing supply conference in Dublin today, the agency revealed that NAMA sites could deliver 40% of the demand for houses in the capital.

Already 2,000 units are under construction and building is ready to get underway on 1,000 more units in six areas of Dublin.

NAMA has also identified 14 sites in the areas of Naas, Dunshaughlin and Kilternan which could deliver nearly 400 units.

Sites in Cork, Limerick and Galway are also being examined.
