When it comes to city breaks New York came out on the top in The Irish Travel Agents Association quarterly survey followed closely by Barcelona, Rome and Prague.
While all-inclusive cruises are back in fashion and camping in Europe is also becoming increasingly popular.
However, the survey also showed that there has been a decline in travel to North Africa, Turkey and Greece.
