British Police are hunting a man who raped a 12-year-old girl in Bristol.

British Police are hunting a man who raped a 12-year-old girl in Bristol.

Avon and Somerset Police said that the child was approached by her attacker in the city's Stapleton Road at around 6pm on Thursday.

A spokesman said that the man walked the girl along Belmont Road to the Stapleton Road railway station.

He added: "He led her along the platform, over a fence and into some dense vegetation, where he raped her."

The attacker was described as of mixed race, aged between 20 and 30, of short, chubby build with a moustache and an Afro haircut.
