Former DUP leader Ian Paisley has been admitted to hospital in the North.

Former DUP leader Ian Paisley has been admitted to hospital in the North.

His wife, Baroness Eileen Paisley has confirmed that the 87-year-old was admitted yesterday, for necessary tests.

His family says Dr Paisley is in good spirits.

He was in hospital for three weeks last year, for treatment to heart problems.

As well as being a former leader of the DUP, Dr Paisley is a former First Minister of Northern Ireland.
