The Government is promising to spend at least 50% of state aid in the world's poorest countries.

Govt makes promise on state aid spending

The Government is promising to spend at least 50% of state aid in the world's poorest countries.

The Minister for Development, Sean Sherlock, made the announcement at Global Citizen Earth Day in Washington.

Mr Sherlock also committed to working with other Governments in Europe to encourage them to make the same commitment.
