Garda stabbed in Kildare
A Garda is recovering after being stabbed in Co Kildare overnight.
The male officer was in the process of moving on a number of youths involved in a public order incident in Clane when a knife was pulled on him.
He was wounded in the face and was hospitalised for a time overnight.
No one has been arrested.
