Fire fighters have put out a blaze on a bus in Cork city.

Fire fighters have put out a blaze on a bus in Cork city.

The alarm was raised at 11.30am and two units of Cork City Fire Brigade were scrambled to Glen Heights Road in the city.

Red FM reports that the fire has since been put out and it is believed that there was nobody on the bus at the time.

Gardaí also attended the scene, and motorists had been advised to drive with caution in the area.
