A 26-year-old woman has been released from garda custody following a stabbing in Co Louth.

A 26-year-old woman has been released from garda custody following a stabbing in Co Louth.

A man in his 30s was treated in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda after he was stabbed in the neck yesterday morning.

The incident happened at the Lia Bhrega estate in Drogheda at about 3am.

The woman is due to appear in court on January 9.
