A staff member at a top Belfast school has been put on precautionary suspension amid a child pornography investigation.

A staff member at a top Belfast school has been put on precautionary suspension amid a child pornography investigation.

The 59-year-old man, who works at Grosvenor Grammar in east Belfast, was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of possessing and making indecent images of children.

He was later released on bail pending further inquiries and a school spokesman has confirmed that he is now under suspension as a precautionary measure.
