Archbishop Martin to lead service for victims of clerical abuse

The Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin will lead a special service at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral Church in the capital this afternoon for victims of clerical abuse.

The Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin will lead a special service at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral Church in the capital this afternoon for victims of clerical abuse.

A representative of the Pope, Cardinal Sean O'Malley, who has been appointed by the Vatican to look into how clerical sex abuse cases were handled, will also be presiding over the special liturgy.

The senior clergymen will wash the feet of a group of people who suffered through abuse, as an act of apology.
