Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban will meet former US president Donald Trump on March 8th in Florida, Orban's press chief told Hungarian state news agency MTI late on Sunday.
Last month, nationalist Orban endorsed Mr Trump's bid to return to the US presidency this year.
"We hope the current president will go, and President Trump will return, and he will have free hands to make peace (in Ukraine)," Orban said on February 23rd.
Mr Trump has made no secret of his admiration for authoritarian leaders, such as Orban and Russian president Vladimir Putin, in the past.
Last year, Orban sent a supportive message to Mr Trump amid his many legal battles.
Orban’s post on Twitter featured a photograph of the two men smiling and shaking hands during a meeting at Mr Trump’s New Jersey estate,
