They've just thrown-in in the second of this year's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-finals. Kerry are taking on Derry at Croke Park.

Jack O'Connor's side are defending the Sam Maguire while their Ulster rivals are attempting to reach the final for the first time in 30 years. Dublin await the winners in the decider.

They finally pulled away from Monaghan to win by seven points yesterday.

In the curtain raiser New York beat Kilkenny 0-13 to 1-9 in the Junior All-Ireland final.

Dublin are into the last four of the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Senior Football Championship. That's after they enjoyed a 3-12 to 0-6 win over Donegal in Ballybofey.

Kate Sullivan scored two of those goals with Sinead Aherne also finding the back of the net for the Girls in Blue.

They join Mayo, Cork and Kerry in the semi-finals.

Golf

Rory McIlroy won the Scottish Open for the very first time today at the Renaissance Club.

He finished up on 15-under-par, one clear of Scotland's Robert MacIntyre.

The win comes a week out from The Open at Liverpool next week which McIlroy says is important.

Shane Lowry finished up in a tie for 12th place on 7-under-par. While Tom McKibbin was 4-under with Padraig Harrington a shot back on 3-under-par.

Tennis

Serbia's Novak Djokovic and Spain's Carlos Alcaraz go head-to-head in the Wimbledon men's singles final in London this afternoon.

Djokovic is attempting to win his 8th crown at the All England Club - while top seed Alcaraz is bidding for his first major on grass, 2pm is the start time.

If Djokovic wins it will be 24 Grand Slam career titles.
