Goals weren't hard to come by in yesterday's GAA club action, with decisive wins in Limerick, Cork and Galway.

The match up in Páirc Uí Chaoimh between Glen Rovers and St Finbarr's was the day's main event, with a goal from Patrick Horgan in injury time proving to be the icing on the cake in Glen Rovers' dominant display.

Despite Robert Downey being red carded after 25 minutes, Glen Rovers laid down their marker for the rest of the championship, winning 3-20 to 0-15.

In Limerick, Na Piarsaigh had a similarly impressive win over Ahane. Goals from Willian Henn and Adrian Breen made it a 2-23 to 0-9 victory for the 2019 county champions.

Moycullen overpowered Mícheál Breathnach 3-12 to 1-6 in the Galway Senior Football Championship, while Milltown edged past An Cheathrú Rua by a single point in the second of the double-header at Pearse Stadium yesterday.

In Mayo, Ballaghderreen powered home against Belmullet, winning 3-11 to 2-4, while Castlebar Mitchels got the better of Charlestown, winning 1-12 to 1-9.

Later today, there's action in the Galway, with Corofin facing Oughterard.
