Stilian Petrov revelled in the chance to get forward in the absence of injured Henrik Larsson in Celtic's 2-0 Tennent's Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Aberdeen.
Petrov, voted Tennent's man of the match, set up John Hartson for Celtic's opener before scoring his side's second.
Hartson was later sent off before Robbie Winters missed a late penalty but it did not take the shine off Petrov's delight.
"I'm really pleased because last time we lost 2-0 here," Petrov said.
"That was in the league, but we had a great win today.
"It was without Henrik because he's injured."
Larsson's absence had given Petrov more space to work in, pushing forward from midfield.
"They gave me a bit more space and I'm happy because I scored a goal," he said.
"Everybody enjoys it when you go forward, when you set up a goal or score a goal."
Petrov also praised team-mates Neil Lennon and Paul Lambert who took care of covering the defence and allowed him to get forward.
"They are experienced and they play well together," he said.
"You need not worry about what is going on behind you."
