Troubled rocker Pete Doherty was forced to cancel a show on the Spanish island of Ibiza yesterday, after his application for a temporary British passport was refused.
The Babyshambles frontman was at home in London this weekend when he realised he had lost his passport and immediately put in an application for a temporary travel document.
However, officials ruled the photographs he supplied broke their strict regulations, and his application was denied - forcing organisers to cancel Babyshambles' show at Bar M as part of the Ibiza Rocks festival.
A spokesperson for the event said yesterday: "Everyone's disappointed. We regret that we have cancelled the show. It's a shame but we had no choice.
"Pete is a good friend of Bar M so we are very forgiving. We are hoping to bring him back in September."
