Newcastle’s Ameobi fit for Uefa Cup clash
Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi has been declared fit for tomorrow night's UEFA Cup clash with Levadia Tallinn in Estonia.
Ameobi has been struggling for some time with a hip injury, but new signing Antoine Sibierski could yet figure with loan signing Giuseppe Rossi ineligible.
Olivier Bernard could be on the bench, but Nolberto Solano and Steven Taylor did not travel because of hamstring and foot injuries respectively, while Celestine Babayaro continues his recovery from a hamstring strain.
