Missing three-year-old girl found with father

The three-year-old Dundalk girl, who had been allegedly abducted by her estranged father, has been found safe and well.

The three-year-old Dundalk girl, who had been allegedly abducted by her estranged father, has been found safe and well.

Katie McCauley of Maple Close in Dundalk had been missing from her home since yesterday.

She was located around 2.30pm in the Carlingford area of Co Louth.

Her father, Paul McCauley, has been arrested and is being taken to Dundalk Garda Station for questioning.

Katie has been taken to Louth County Hospital in Dundalk for a precautionary check up.
