The Kilkenny squad and management have arrived at Croke Park ahead of this afternoon's All-Ireland SHC final against Cork.
Brian Cody and his men hit headquarters at shortly after 2pm in advance of their showdown with the reigning champions. Throw-in is at 3.30pm.
GAA officials have reacted to concerns over the state of the Croke Park pitch, which was roundly criticised during last month's semi-finals for its slippery state.
The grass is visibly longer for today's finals with a deader bounce allowing the players in the minor decider between Tipperary and Galway to have a better control.
During the week, Cork's commanding centre back Ronan Curran was asked about his views on the problematic pitch.
He said: "We haven’t been up at Croke Park since the Waterford game. That day was bad - John Gardiner, Niall McCarthy and myself found it hard to keep our footing.
“We changed our boots at half-time and found it easer in the second half. The Canal End seems to be worse. They (the Croke Park officials) said they will do some work on it. We just hope it will be okay.”
