Bohemians giant defender Jimmy Aggrey is on the verge of a move to English Conference side Woking after agreeing an 18-month contract with the club.
Aggrey, 29, is on a short-term deal with the Gypsies and was keen on remaining at Dalymount Park but manager Gareth Farrelly said the club were unable to meet his demands for a longer-term deal.
Farrelly said: “I’ve been pleased with him but we just could not give him what he was looking for. He was looking for a long-term deal and he is now going back to England.”
Aggrey joined Bohemians at the start of the season from Welsh side TNS, scoring two goals for the Gypsies. However, he recently lost his place in the side while serving a suspension.
