Six arrested in swoop on Spain-Ireland drug gang

Police in Spain have arrested six people as part of an investigation into the trafficking of drugs to Ireland.

Police in Spain have arrested six people as part of an investigation into the trafficking of drugs to Ireland.

They also seized 323kg of cannabis during the operation in the Costa del Sol, which focused on a gang suspected of smuggling drugs from Seville to Ireland.

Four luxury cars, drug-packing equipment and accounting machinery were also seized.

None of those arrested is Irish.
