Sun Microsystems has reported strong results for its fiscal fourth quarter and full fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2004.
Sun employs 160 at the corporation’s strategic software development centre in Dublin.
Revenues for the fourth quarter grew to $3.11bn (€2.51bn), an increase of 4.3% as compared with $2.982bn (€2.415bn) for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2003.
Net income for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2004 was $795m (€644bn) as compared with a net loss of $1.039bn (€841m) for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2003.
