In addition, Ger O’Brien remains out with an ankle problem and Shane McFaul will be hoping to prove his fitness after sitting out the last two games with a foot complaint.

Sporting boss Liam Buckley said: “The lads battled back gamely to score three goals late on in Sligo Rovers and we’ll want to continue on from that for this game against Bray Wanderers.

“The result pushes Sligo ahead of us into fourth spot but we’ll just concentrate on winning our two games this week and see where that takes us.

“Though our record against Bray Wanderers is excellent, it counts for nothing on Monday unless we’re focussed on the job at hand. They got a fantastic win over Galway and we’ll need to be on our game.”

Bray have no major injury worries as they prepare for the trip to Morton Stadium.
