Bray Wanderers will continue their fight to avoid the drop when they take on Sporting Fingal at Morton Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.

Colin Hawkins is back in contention for Sporting. The defender missed Friday’s 4-3 defeat away to Sligo Rovers but could start as Shaun Maher is nursing an ankle problem sustained at the Showgrounds.

In addition, Ger O’Brien remains out with an ankle problem and Shane McFaul will be hoping to prove his fitness after sitting out the last two games with a foot complaint.

Sporting boss Liam Buckley said: “The lads battled back gamely to score three goals late on in Sligo Rovers and we’ll want to continue on from that for this game against Bray Wanderers.

“The result pushes Sligo ahead of us into fourth spot but we’ll just concentrate on winning our two games this week and see where that takes us.

“Though our record against Bray Wanderers is excellent, it counts for nothing on Monday unless we’re focussed on the job at hand. They got a fantastic win over Galway and we’ll need to be on our game.”

Bray have no major injury worries as they prepare for the trip to Morton Stadium.

Shane O'Neill returns to the squad after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Stephen Brennan, Colm Tresson, and James Kavanagh are also included in the squad.

Bray’s Director of Football, Pat Devlin said: "Our record against them is abysmal. It will be a tough game. They have everything we would want in regard to resources. Having the three points in the bag (from Friday’s victory) going into the game will give us a lot of confidence.”
