A Labour TD has hinted the Government may be considering another Budget u-turn.

A 66% cut in funding for community employment schemes was included in this week's Budget.

However, Kerry / North West Limerick TD, Arthur Spring, told Radio Kerry the Government will be looking at this area again and try to find savings elsewhere.

Mr Spring said: "I think that is something we raised straight away, because for places like the family resource centres that would have child care facilities, they would use people from community employment schemes.

"It is something that a number of us has raised with the Government and we will try and come up with a way of doing something about that as well."
