Galway United entertain Drogheda United tonight in this bottom-of-the-table clash at Terryland Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

The home side must plan without Gary Curran, while Joseph Yoffe may return from an ankle injury.

Sean Kelly is out with a knee injury, while Shaun Maher, Steve Feeney, Enda Curran, Gary Kelly and Alan Murphy are all doubts.

Shaun Kelly misses out for Sean Connor’s side as he is suspended.

United boss Connor said: "It's a massive game. As I've said before, games against Drogheda and UCD will be telling.

“It's a real chance for us to pick up three points, and put a six point gap between ourselves and Drogheda. We're at home and we need to maximize all the chances that we get."

For Drogheda, Alan McNally and Mark Nolan both return from suspension.

Darragh Hanaphy is a doubt, while Jack Flynn remains out through injury.

Drogheda boss Mick Cooke said: “This is a match which we would like to think we can get something from it. Both of us are at the wrong end of the table and will be scrapping for points, but as with most games I will be going there with some confidence.

“We are putting together good periods, but still unable to capitalise on them. The lads are full of heart, but still a bit young and Ii hope to bring in some experience in July.”
