The ISEQ fell 21.35 points this morning to stand at 6747.61 at 10.30am.
Paddy Power fell a massive €3.35 (25.1%) to €10, after announcing disappointing gross-win percentages this morning. The bookmaker was the morning’s busiest share.
Eircom lost 5c (2.2%) to €2.22.
Irish Continental was down 20c (2%) at €9.55. Mediation talks have been recommended to solve the Irish Ferries employment dispute.
Independent News and Media fell 3c (1.3%) to €2.30. Trading in APN News & Media (APN), in which the ISEQ company has a 39.7% shareholding, has remained in line with previous guidance, according to a trading statement released today.
Irish Life and Permanent slipped 5c to €15.30. Anglo Irish Bank was up 4c at €11.12.
Bank of Ireland was 3c in the red at €12.87, while Allied Irish Bank was unchanged at €17.25.
Financial services company IFG gained 1c to €1.38.
