Carlow's senior hurlers won through to the Kehoe Cup final yesterday, as corner forward Brendan Lawler shot a twelve-point tally in a 2-18 to 2-7 win over Wicklow.
The defending champions booked their place in a decider, which will see them face either Meath or DIT, although they did trail by 1-4 to 0-6 at the break at Dr. Cullen Park.
John Keogh netted Wicklow's first goal but two glorious strikes from Seamus Murphy, who bulged the visitors' net on 56 and 59 minutes, steered Carlow to victory, allied to the 25-year-old Lawler's points-scoring prowess.
