The SDLP's Deputy Leader Seamus Mallon is predicting that the party will emerge as the largest in the North following the June 7th election.
Mr Mallon said today that the party is set to win the crucial seat of West Tyrone, where Agriculture Minister Brid Rodgers is involved in a fierce battle with Sinn Fein's Pat Doherty and the Ulster Unionists' William Thompson.
Mr Mallon also insists the SDLP has the potential to win the key battleground constituencies of North Belfast, South Belfast and Fermanagh-South Tyrone
