Bohs likely to start without Crowe

Bohemians may have to entertain the nation against Cork City on live television tonight minus their leading scorer Glen Crowe.

Bohemians may have to entertain the nation against Cork City on live television tonight minus their leading scorer Glen Crowe.

Third-placed Bohs take on the Leesiders at Dalymount Park (7.45pm), in front of the RTE cameras with 14-goal Crowe still nursing a knee injury and rated a major doubt by his club despite making progress in his recovery during the week.

Midfielder Stephen Caffrey is also a major fitness concern having suffered a calf injury during last weekend's victory over Dublin rivals St Patrick’s Athletic.

Definitely out for new player-manager Gareth Farrelly is fellow midfielder Fergal Harkin, with a knee injury that will sideline him for at least two or three more weeks, while Dave Morrison will also be absent from the middle of the park as he is serving a one-match suspension.

Midfielder James Keddy and defender Colin Hawkins are available once again having served their one-match bans but Farrelly may not press Ken Oman back into the Bohs rearguard just yet as he continues to regain fitness.

Cork will be without the injured Kevin Murray but could welcome back Alan Bennett, who missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Shamrock Rovers due to an ankle problem.
