Cork’s O’Connor and Mulcahy win Player of Year awards

Cork duo Gemma O'Connor and Valerie Mulcahy have won this year's Player of the Year awards for camogie and ladies football.

Cork duo Gemma O'Connor and Valerie Mulcahy have won this year's Player of the Year awards for camogie and ladies football.

Mulcahy helped Cork to their first-ever ladies football title last month.

O'Connor, meanwhile, was part of the Rebels side that beat defending champions Tipperary in the camogie final in September.
